| Description | Calling all ages! Join Mars Borough and NASA for a STEAM/STEM celebratory and educational event focused on the planet MARS and STEAM education. Friday, 5/31/19 consists of a live talk-back with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, exhibits, food, Sci-Fi costume contest with cash prizes, music from Let's Groove Tonight (Earth, Wind, and Fire tribute band), and fireworks. Highlights for Saturday, 6/1/19 and Sunday, 6/2/19 include NASA speakers and exhibits, Carnegie Science Center speaker and exhibit, drone exhibit and competition, rocket launch, First Robotics exhibit and competitions, "Meet the Mars Challenge" a judged science fair with cash prizes for grades 2nd through 8th, an Escape Room, "Martian Farms," Maker Build, Moat Boat/3D printing, food, kids’ zone and hands-on STEAM crafts/projects, train rides, museum visits, and so much more! 6/1/19 will feature the music of The Gothies Band and 6/2/19 will feature The Sarah James Project.
