| Description | White water rafting trips on the historic Kennebec River, a 13 mile trip through the upper Kennebec Gorge of Class III-V rapids followed by a milder run out of Class II rapids with swimming and paddling through the lower section. Available for ages 10 and up. Great way for Maine visitors to commune with nature and view wildlife while experiencing the thrills of rafting and wilderness of Maine. Also a "Cheap Thrills" 1/2 day Trip for those who just want a taste of the rapids. We have a campground with tent sites and cabin tents, a housekeeping cottage that sleeps 16 and an air conditioned lodge with king, queen and bunks rooms. We have shower facilities, a rec pavilion, 1/2 court basketball, volley ball. We offer raft rentals and tubing on the lower Kennebec River. And yes, we have WIFI in the middle of the wilderness. All full day trips come with a BBQ of your choice of steak, chicken, fish or veggie burger, cole slaw, rolls and veggie rice, homemade dessert. |
