DescriptionJoin us for the 22nd Annual Lincoln Days Civil War Reenactment on June 1 & 2, 2024 at the 480 recreational Lake Pittsfield in Pike Count, IL. Walk thru the cmmps and visit with Union and Confederate artillery, infantry, cavalry, naval and civilian reenactors. Experience life in the 19th century. Listen to the 10th Illinois Cavalry Band and nationally known folk singer Chris Vallillo. Enjoy the magic show, the Ladies & Gentlemens Fashion Show & Lemonade Party. Visit with Pres. & Mrs. Abraham Lincoln, Gen. U S Grant and Gen. Robert E. Lee.
Programs include the Soldier's Aide Society, the Causes & Effects of the Civil War and Civil War medicine. Take the Flat Lincoln Scavenger Hunt. Period music, food and vendors. Lincoln Days is an Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area Signature Event sponsored by the Abe Lincoln Project/Looking for Lincoln in Pike County and the City of Pittsfield.
