Don't Bother!		I went in for a message about 2 months ago I guess and never said a word about my experience at LaVida. I was just talking to a friend of mine about when I did go for a massage and she said I should write a review or even call them. (Obviously, I'm choosing to write the review). I had THE WORST experience at this spa. I was so excited that my husband got me a $60 gift certificate for a massage. I called and made an appointment and upped the one hour to a 90 minute massage and paid the extra $$. What a huge mistake that was. I told them on the phone when making the appointment that I wanted to just relax and have the massage and then said it again when I went in for my appointment. (They even ask you what you are looking for in a massage). I was never in so much pain. During the massage, the therapist asked if it was too much pressure. I said yes. But it seemed to just continue. I was finding myself even cringing throughout most of my massage. I was sore for almost an entire week. I had "relaxing" massages before at other spas, and never did I have any soreness or was I ever "cringing" throughout the massage. Beware before you call this place. I know I will taking my business elsewhere!Middle age female01-06-11
5 StarsExcellent!I went in for a facial and massage combo, the prices can not be beat and the atmosphere is very calming and professional. The services were better than any more expensive spa that I have been to.Middle age female07-01-10
