DescriptionHappy Lunar New Year! This holiday will come to its climax with the Yuan Xiao (???—yuán xiao jié), or Lantern Festival in February.
The Taiwan Hall of Fame at the International Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago celebrates Taiwan’s outstanding contributions to global health and medicine. Presented by the International College of Surgeons, Taiwan Section, this exhibit includes engaging videos, displays of hand-crafted artwork, cultural artifacts and antique medical tools.

RSVP in advance to receive $10 admission.
The International Museum of Surgical Science is excited to celebrate Lantern Festival on February 9th. This festival is celebrated throughout many Asian cultures and brings families together to celebrate the new year.

Join us on this special day to make your own lantern, eat snacks, drink tea, and celebrate loved ones.
