| Description | Celebrating 25 years in business, and still locally owned and operated, Kiwi Discovery specialise in the Queenstown outdoor adventure tourism industry and offers a variety of Milford Sound tours, skiing packages, hiking and outdoor adventure activities.
Carol and Vance Boyd purchased "Value Tours Queenstown" back in 1987 and started Kiwi Discovery, providing everything for a ski or snowboard holiday in Queenstown, New Zealand. The following summer, Kiwi Discovery started operating trips to Milford Sound in the Fiordland National Park. Today, tours to Milford Sound run all year round and are proving popular with the independant traveller wanting to see this World Heritage site with an experienced local company.
"Value tours rafting" became Kiwi Discovery white water rafting, then in 1996 after an almalgamation of four Queenstown white water rafting companies, Kiwi Discovery and Real Journeys entered a joint venture and "Queenstown Rafting" as it is known today was incorporated. |
