Reviews for Kentucky Opry in Benton, KY

3 Stars
If you ever find yourself stuck in the black-hole of Draffenville,Ky on a Saterday night and do not want to watch the tube. Then the Kentucky Opry is the place to go. To us it was not a Branson style music show as they said in their brochure or fast pace. It was a bunch of locals getting together to have fun with Clay Cambell(owner) for two hours. We went because the brochure brought back memories of the great shows we saw at the Lee Mace's Ozark Opry that ran six nights a week for over fifty years in Lake of the Ozarks,Mo. This show did not live-up to those shows. The show may had been better if their main comic had been there! He reminded us of Bill "Goofer" Atterberry on the brochure. If you have children this show is clean, but it is not as entertaining to young folks like how the Ozark Opry was. But,it still is the best show in town...there is no others. Middle age male09-01-09
