Description | New in 2009! Part of the Johnstown Discovery Network, the museum is located inside the Heritage Discovery Center. A children's museum with a variety of hands-on activities, themed on the culture, geology, geography, industry, ecology, and ethnicity of this region. Highlights include the water room, where kids can play with water and learn about dams, rainfall, plumbing and more; the rooftop garden; and the "Inclimber" climbing structure. The museum is owned and operated by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association. Your ticket includes admission to all attractions in the Heritage Discovery Center, as well as the Johnstown Flood Museum and Wagner-Ritter House & Garden. |
