| Description | Explore the world of silicon chips at the only high-tech company museum in Silicon Valley. More than 30 entertaining, educational, hands-on exhibits show how computer chips are made and what they do. Kids can try on the “bunny” suits worn by silicon chip makers, while the whole family has fun. Learn about the progression of technology and how it is changing the way we live at “Digital Transformations,” a new exhibit that compares past technologies to today’s newest silicon chip-based consumer products. Visitors can explore technological advancements used to record sound, capture images, and communicate over distance to understand how innovative technology affects social change. Free computerized audio handsets, available in seven languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Chinese), let you tour at your own pace. Intel souvenirs, toys and apparel are available inside the Intel Museum Store. |
