Description	Historic Washington is a unique Arkansas State Park offering a step back into the 19th century concentrating on 1824 to 1889. Washington was host to travelers such as James Bowie, Sam Houston and Davy Crocket. Washington is also the famed birthplace of the "Bowie Knife". Enjoy a walk on the board sidewalks, a surrey ride or a tour of the many historic homes and sites that make up Historic Washington State Park.
