Description | Downtown Plano holds something for everyone....arts and culture, shopping, dining, nightlife, and more!
Recently designated a cultural district by the Texas Commission on the Arts, Historic Downtown Plano has much to offer. Free Concerts and dance lessons at McCall Plaza, free summer band concerts and movies in Haggard Park, shows and cultural performances at the Courtyard Theater and Cox Building Playhouse, plus art galleries and festivals for every season!
Unique and one-of-a-kind stores and boutiques line the brick street. Storefronts retain their historic charm with turn of the century architecture. Sip some wine and browse the shops and galleries with live music and art demonstrations during the monthly Art and Wine Walk.
Shop the unique boutiques, grab lunch or dessert or stop in for an art class. Take in a show or a concert, or browse through the Interurban Railway Museum and learn the history of the steam and electric railways and their impact on the City.
Plan ahead to enjoy one of Downtown Plano's many festivals, including Artfest, AsiaFest, the International Festival, Steinfest (like Oktoberfest), Dickens in the Park (Victorian Christmas) and more.
