| Description | Tour, Taste, Shop and Eat at one of the world's largest cheese creameries. Hilmar Cheese Company Visitor Center features a MOOvie and fun, interactive exhibits where you can dress like a cheese maker. It is the only place in the world to see employees package the "big cheese" a 640 lb. block of cheese. Complimentary cheese tasting and fresh squeakers (cheese curds). The cafe feeatures grilled cheese sandwiches, cheese chowder soup, cream cheese brownies and cheese pie. A beautiful gift shop, espresso and ice cream counter means there is something for everyone. The on-site park has picnic area, a walk-through waterfall and the largest dairy mural in the world. Check the website for fun activities. Ice cream making (and eating!) tours also available.
