Description | "Hello, Bright Eyes" raises the visibility of healthy vision, featuring artwork that focuses on eyes, eyesight, or all the wonders the eyes provide us throughout our years. Some of the artwork was created using old parts of eyeglasses donated by the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington®. The show also includes paintings, photographs, sculptures and more.
Special events for our eyes--and other senses--will be held throughout the month. Events include "Healthy Aging & Your Vision," "Playing with Resin," a free children’s vision screening, and "Patching & Beyond." All special events require advance registration. Check Del Ray Artisans’ website for dates, details, and more information.
The gallery is free, open to the public, and accessible. Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing are required of all gallery visitors.
