| Description | Habitot Children's Museum, a hands-on discovery museum for 0-5 year olds, features interactive, play and learning exhibits and an Art Studio, drop-in children's classes (weekdays) and frequent public events and performances. Adults are encouraged join in the fun which helps their children learn concepts, language, and social skills and nurtures family relationships. Preschool field trips and birthday party rentals are also an option. Habitot houses a parenting resource library as well as a toy loaning collection for members. Habitot, a nonprofit organization, reaches out to and includes socio-economically and culturally diverse families, and manages dedicated programs for teen parents, special needs families, and homeless families so that vulnerable children also benefit. |
