Childrens Museums in Gettysburg, PA

Children’s museums are a playground for the mind, a place to play, explore, discover, and learn with kids. Children’s museums are also a perfect place for boys’ and girls’ scouts to gather, for birthday parties, and for parents and children to enhance their involvement with each other.

Be a kid again, visit a local children’s museum and enjoy the wonder of learning. Most children’s museums charge a fee to get in, but may also offer discounts on certain days of the week, or depending on group size, family income or membership participation. Check your local library for free passes.

It’s a good idea to check the website for information about their programs, and to find: exhibit and program descriptions, directions, admission fees, best times to avoid crowds, and recommended length of time to spend in order to participate in all of the activities. Some museums may also sell food, or provide lunchroom facilities.

Who knows, you might enjoy it so much, you’ll want to become a museum volunteer.
