DescriptionThis free, world class Visitor Center is the perfect starting point for your Garden of the Gods adventure! Some of the most awe-inspiring views of the park and can be experienced from the observation terrace. Enjoy dramatic views of 300' towering sandstone rock formations set against a backdrop of snow-capped Pikes Peak and brilliant blue skies.

• Two exhibit halls feature state of the art, hands-on interactive exhibits showcasing the park’s rich cultural history, geology, wildlife, native plants, and the world’s only Theiophytalia kerri dinosaur.

• See the short film “How Did Those Red Rocks Get There?” in the spectacular Geo-Trekker theater. Soar above the Park to enjoy awe-inspiring aerial footage while traveling through billions of years of geologic history.

• Visit the award-winning gift shop for a T-shirt, souvenir or local Colorado gift.

• Enjoy the espresso bar, breakfast, or lunch with a view inside or outside at Bean Sprouts Café.® Allergy friendly, healthy menu options abound with lots of fun for the kids. Where else can you eat inside a postcard?

• Garden of the Gods is the perfect place for outdoor adventure! Hop on an open-air Jeep, Segway, or 1909 Trolley for an unforgettable experience. Enjoy an e-bike or mountain bike tour. For views from above, sign up for the via ropata and giant rappel, or a guided climb in one of the world’s most historic rock-climbing venues.

• Children of all ages will enjoy the fun-filled Junior Ranger program. Take your photo in the 3D dinosaur mural or on the on the back of a buffalo! Daily nature walks, adventure series programs and free annual events are hosted throughout the year.

• Pick up your free souvenir map and stop by our information desk to plan your outing. Admission to the Center is free.

Voted as one of the top social impact business in Colorado, the center is owned by the non-profit Garden of the Gods Foundation with a mission to support and enhance the Park for future generations. Your purchases from the gift shop, movie, Café and adventure tours benefit public education and conservation of the Park since 1995.
