| Description | The 13th Annual Galveston Island Shrimp Festival is back for 2022! Galveston Island is a seafood lover’s paradise all year round, but this September 23-24th Yaga’s Entertainment, Inc. will bring foodies a little taste of heaven. Start your weekend off with our Friday Kick-Off Party featuring a Texas-Sized shrimp dinner, open bar, and live music! Saturday morning will begin with our Shrimp Scamper 5k Fun Run and transition into a day full of festivities. Compete, or just eat! Cook teams will be competing all day long for the chance to win a $1000 cash prize for the best shrimp gumbo. Famous Gumbo Stroll tickets are available for purchase to sample what the teams are cooking up. Shrimp Dinner Plates are also for sale, and feature fried shrimp, a cup of shrimp gumbo, and a cold beer or water. The day will be complete with live music, vendors, and the Lil' Shrimps Parade! You won't want to miss this. |
