	Name Five Christmases at the Shriver House Address 309 Baltimore St Gettysburg Brief Description Holiday House Tour Type Activity Category Recreation Description The Shrivers, one of the oldest and wealthiest families in Gettysburg in the 1860s, experienced five very different Christmases while living in their beautiful home on Baltimore Street. Their first Christmas was a wonderful one since the family moved in just before the holidays. The house is arranged for an ‘open house’ to show off their beautiful new home to family and friends, with a Christmas tree, holiday greens, gifts galore, and lots of food and refreshments. By their second Christmas, however, George was away fighting in the war. Christmas tours will take place on weekends from Thanksgiving Day through December 18th. Private tours for groups of ten or more are welcome at anytime throughout the holiday season; reservations are required.
