5 StarsExcellent!Cool place to visit when in Sedona. Lots of art to see and a big selection. The outside part is fun to explore -- furniture made from rocks, "wind sculptures" and fountains. The gallery is on the banks of Oak Creek, so that makes it extra fun to sit in a rock chair, enjoy the breeze and watch the water flow by in the creek. Check out the paintings inside. John Cogan does realistic Grand Canyon paintings. Kate Starling paints beautiful desert scenes. The sculpture is fun especially Goldstein's dogs. A little something for everyone and a laid-back gallery.Young male01-04-10
5 StarsExcellent! This gallery made us feel welcome from the moment we walked into the sculpture garden. The garden is filled with copper wind sculptures that twirl in the breeze. Bronze sculpture and fountains add to the atmosphere. The gallery is next to Oak Creek, so it makes a great place to relax in the unique rock chairs and explore art. Inside, we found some of the best fine art I've seen outside New York and LA. And what's nice is that the gallery has a wide price range, from emerging artists whose prices are a wonderful find to established artists with new works. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they don't hover while you look, but are nearby in case you have questions. My husband and I bought a painting by Fredrick Stephens (an artist on the verge of making it big) and took home information on the rock chairs. The art consultant said that they can be shipped anywhere. We LOVE the painting and have it over our fireplace. So now I think of Sedona and the gallery everytime I see it. This is the gallery to check out when you visit Sedona. Middle age female02-01-09
