Trek Lincoln's path to political destiny. Decatur is home to 15 Wayside Exhibits that highlight historic sites related to the life of Abraham Lincoln. Each site tells a story with text and images, and includes a rubbing medallion so you can create a paper/crayon souvenir to document your visit.

Located in downtown Decatur. This unique work of art is one of only a handful of sculptured tributes to the African American War soldier in the entire country. Commissioned by the City of Decatur, the work was designed and created by renowned artist Preston Jackson.
