Description	The earthwork fortification was built by Union Soldiers to defend the ford and ferry at Boonesboro. A scenic trail provides a beautiful view of the Kentucky River. Little remains of the earthen fort built by the Union Army to defend the Kentucky River from advancing Confederate Troops. Self guided tours daily.
