DescriptionDue to high waters, temporary closings include the Hancock boat ramp and McMahons Mill to Lock 41 area in Washington County and the Lander area and Monocacy boat ramp in Frederick County. High water is extremely dangerous and visitors should avoid walking near the water's edge or boating in swollen streams and rivers. The Olmsted Island bridges to the Great Falls Overlook, the Billy Goat Trail Section A and Bear Island are now OPEN.
