Description	The park is divided into three districts. Sightseeing and day trips are the best in the Island in the Sky. The Maze District requires advance reservations for backcountry camping by 4 wheel driver vehicle or bicycle. The Needles District is a backpacker haven. Reservations for backpacking permits are required in advance. Technical 4 wheel skills are necessary to enter the park off of the pavement.Visitors often explore Canyonlands by the Green or Colorado Rivers by canoe or raft. The rivers divide Canyonlands and river permits are required in advance of arrival along with skills to camp and travel in the backcountry.
