| Description | We are a nonprofit located in Moab, UT that encourages people of all ages to experience nature directly with few of the trappings of modern life, through hiking, camping, tours and river running. We offer day and multi-day hiking and rafting tours in and around the Moab area.
We have open day tours every weekend from mid-April to mid-October except for the last two weeks in July. Friday and Saturday evenings we off a sunset tour to Arches National Park that is $45/person. Friday through Sunday mornings, we have a Moab's Ancient Past tour that is $40/person. We provide water, transportation and cover any entrance fees while provideing interpretation of the area, its history, environment and geology. We also offer multi-day land and river tours for adults and families as well as custom, private river and land trips for your group. See our website for more details.
For school and youth groups, we offer river and land programs including a field camp where the students stay in tipis and learn about the science of the desert around them through interaction with the land and river.
CFI has been an outdoor education nonprofit since 1984 and all trip profits go toward the youth and school education programs. |
