DescriptionDeveloped for the 1988 Winter Olympic Games Nordic events, the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park remains a world-class facility. In 2005 the Centre was significantly renovated to re-establish itself as one of the top cross country, biathlon and mountain bike destinations in the world.

In the winter…
More than 65 km (37 miles) of groomed and track-set trail for all ability levels in both classic and skatingtechnique beckon cross-country skiers.

In the summer…
An 18-hole disc golf course, more than 100 km of single and double track mountain bike and hiking trail, 6.5 km of paved rollerski trail, and a mountain bike skills park keep recreationalists busy.

The Daylodge
The Daylodge features a café, fireplace, changing rooms, showers, day lockers and five rooms available for private rental.
Hours of Operation: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, daily (extended hours in winter months)

Mountain Bike and Cross Country Ski rentals, lessons, and service are offered at Trail Sports – located immediately beside the Daylodge.

Come and enjoy the great outdoors in the company and history of Olympians. The Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park is the home of Canada’s national Cross-Country and Biathlon ski teams.
