| Description | Bodies Revealed exposes the secrets of the human body in unprecedented detail normally reserved for medical professionals. Visitors of all ages can look deep inside the carefully preserved specimens, learn about human anatomy and see the effects that disease and unhealthy lifestyles have on the body.
Bodies Revealed, located inside the 10,000 square-foot Lexington Center Museum & Gallery, takes visitors through a series of galleries providing an up-close look inside the skeletal, muscular, reproductive, respiratory, circulatory and other systems of the human body. Many of the full-body specimens are dissected in vivid athletic poses, allowing visitors to relate to everyday activities. In addition, a multitude of organs are displayed to illustrate the damage that can result from over-eating, lack of exercise and smoking and provides comparisons more powerful than any textbook could illustrate.
