For the less adventurous, we have some of the most unique botique shops, historical sites, antique stores, walking trails and scenic drives imaginable. Festivals and Art events can be found on most weekends.
We are just a short distance from the John C. Campbell Folk School, Peacock Playhouse, Henn Theater, Trail of Tears, Fields of the Woods, Cherohala Skyway and Smoky Mountain National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway and historic downtown Murphy. One King, non-smoking, room is equipped with accessible bathroom facilities including shower bench, handheld showerhead, bathroom rails, accessible vanity, handicap height toilet. All rooms have closed captioned TV. A hearing impaired kit including visible door knocker, fire alarm and TTY setup is available at front desk for use during your stay.
Pet PolicyPets are allowed at the Best Western Murphy for a fee. Advance reservations are highly recommended as we have limited pet room availability. There is a non-refundable fee of $15 per night for pets (maximum of $100 per week). Maximum size for dogs is 80 lbs and limited exotic pets are accepted. It is important to call prior to arrival to check both availability and acceptance policy for your pet.
