Its "gardens under glass include the Fuqua Conservatory, an organic biosphere and home to important collections of tropical palms and conifers; and the Fuqua Orchid Center, with the foremost collection of species orchids in the United States. The staff's conservation work includes wetland preservation and carnivorous plant bogs across the Southeast as well as endangered species of amphibians from around the world. |
