$1 admission for the first 50 children to arrive

WHAT:
After a successful year of entertaining and educating children and adults alike with breathtaking ocean exhibits, Sea Life Arizona invites the entire community to join in celebrating the anniversary of its opening at Arizona Mills on Saturday, May 14.

Birthday festivities will include $1 admission for the first 50 children in line Saturday morning; a ceremonial cake cutting at 10 a.m.; a giant birthday card for guests to sign; a fun birthday craft and decor and a guest appearance by Sharky, Sea Life’s mascot, who will be present throughout the day.

Sea Life’s residents also will be taking part in the birthday celebration, including:
• Two new puffer fish will be premiered during the birthday celebration. The puffer fish are more than a foot in length and reign as some of the most poisonous fish in the world.
• Many creatures will receive “birthday cakes” made up of their favorite treats.
• The octopus will receive a birthday gift to play with in his tank.
