Description | The Andy Griffith Museum's collection includes many items from "The Andy Griffith Show" as well as items from his entire life and career. The collection also includes items donated from other cast members. Andy Griffith was born and raised in Mount Airy, North Carolina and Surry Arts Council hosts the annual Mayberry Days festival each year, the last weekend in September. Admission to the Andy Griffith Museum is $8, plus tax, and includes admission into the Historic Earle Theatre and Old-Time Music Heritage Hall as well as the Siamese Twins Collection, honoring Eng and Chang Bunker. The museum and collections are open 7 days per week, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. |
