Details: Grab your friends and sign up for the Amy Hafer Race for Awareness! This event takes place the last Saturday in June, and features 5k, 10k, & one mile runs, and a 5k and one mile walk. With awards, refreshments, and a celebration of health. The Amy Hafer Race for Awareness is a fun event for the whole family! The cost is $25 per person and includes a t-shirt ($15 if Race only), same day registration 8:00 - 8:30am; cost is $30 w/tshirt, $20 race only. The Amy Hafer Race for Awareness was launched in 2008 to honor Wallowa resident Amy Hafer, a young mother who lost her battle with cancer. The Race promotes health and early detection through regular check ups and important screenings such as mammography and colonoscopy.
