Usage and Features

The site is simple to use and trips can be planned from start to finish. Listings can be filtered by state, region and category - such as attractions, events, things to do, restaurants, accommodations and visitor information. There are also search pages for hotel specials, flight search, car search, hotel searches and cruises. Advanced searches are available for each location by simply clicking on the interactive map on the home page. Just find the location of interest and click the red balloon. A screen will then appear with detailed tourist information for that State or Province including attractions, activities, events, hotels, restaurants, the best times of the year to visit and other important visitor information. Searches can be narrowed by choosing information posted on the menu on the left hand side of the page, or by clicking on a specific region on the map, or through the pull down list on the right side of the page. Personal lists of saved items are added to the itinerary any time the visitor clicks the
Add button, and reviewing the saved locations is a one-click visit to the My
Travel Itinerary link at the top of the home page. You can also print out or email your travel plan. |
