Description of this Cheyenne Attraction: Wyoming takes pride in the first residence provided for governors and their families. The house has been the setting for state dinners, first family christenings, wedding receptions and birthday parties. From 1905 to 1976, the mansion was the residence of 19 Wyoming first families. In July 1977, the Historic Governors' Mansion opened to the public as a historic house museum.
