Description of this Manchester area Restaurant: We are located at 4961 main street(rte 7a) next to Long Ago, Far Away in Manchester Center, Vermont. The restaurant was established in the mid 1960's. It was nicknamed "Manchester's Original Cafe" since it WAS Manchester's first and "cafes" weren't popular in Vermont yet. Another first for Manchester was our outdoor dining on our peastone patio. We offer breakfast & lunch, 7 days - year round (only closed Christmas Day)and dinner (seasonal, or call ahead) as well as full service catering - on and off premise. We have many vegetarian dishes as well as gluten free options and always do our best to accommodate special dietary needs as all meals are prepasred to order. This allows for additions or subtractions to our menu items, within reason, of course! All of our soups, chili are only made from scratch and most are gluten free and ALWAYS a vegetarian option available. Our turkey is an all natural breast that is in house roasted with no additives or preservatives as well our produce is mostly organic and from local farms when possible. We believe in supporting local business and use as many Vermont made products as are available.
