Haunted Castle one of the midwest's leading haunted attractions
Category: Fort Wayne Theme Park near Ft. Wayne, Indiana
Description of this Ft. Wayne area Attraction: The HAUNTED CASTLE, the Midwest’s leading Haunted Attraction Theme Park, celebrates 25 years of Scares in 2004, with its biggest show ever for the Tri-State audience! The HAUNTED CASTLE, the BLACK FOREST, and PHARAOH'S REVENGE, will open every Thursday through Sunday, starting September 29th, and continue for five full weekends through Monday, October 31st, plus every night during the last week before Halloween.
Several new rooms have recently been discovered in the HAUNTED CASTLE. Deep down below the lowest level previously toured, a dungeon has been uncovered, complete with numerous means of torture, most right out of the Middle Ages. In the BLACK FOREST, the Super Maze is changing nightly, and is now even darker and more confusing than ever! Be very careful of the Caretakers Barn and the new Wild Horse Inn, where special scares haunt the BLACK FOREST trail!
Visit PHARAOH'S REVENGE, and hear his secret warning, as Pharaoh challenges the unsuspecting to find their way out! PHARAOH'S REVENGE is a completely new haunt each year. In 2004, Explorers will search for new ways out in the labyrinth of passages below the pyramid of death and decay, and then barter to find the quickest way out of the PHARAOH'S REVENGE.
The Haunted Castle can be found at the intersection of Wallen and Auburn Roads on Fort Wayne’s north side, just off of Coldwater Road, and a mile north of Interstate 69, Exit 112-B. Cost is just $9.00 for each event, or $20.00 for the 3-Pak ticket, good for all three haunts. Discount coupons for $5.00 off the regular price of the 3-Pak ticket, are available at Root’s Outdoor Outfitters new location at 7421 Coldwater Road, and at area Taco Bell Restaurants. For maps and additional information, and again this year, to buy your tickets on-line, visit the web at www.hauntedcastle.com. You may also call the Haunt Line at (260) 489-1763. Special rates are available for groups of 20 or more, with no advance reservation required. Groups are encouraged to buy their tickets on-line, to save time upon arrival.
