Description of this Newport Attraction: We are Rhode Island's only microbrewery and proud brewers of the Newport Storm line of Hand-Crafted beers. Although our beers is available in bars, restaurants, and liquor stores in southern New England, there is nothing like a trip to the brewery! Our retail shop is open from Monday to Friday 9-5 and can sell you or refill, a half-gallon jug ("growler") of beer. Private tours can be scheduled over the phone for groups of 10 or more. Our regular public tour happpens every Friday at 6pm. See our website for details.

Description of this Providence Attraction: Roger Williams National Memorial commemorates the life of the founder of Rhode Island and a champion of the ideal of religious freedom. Williams, banished from Massachusetts for his beliefs, founded Providence in 1636. This colony served as a refuge where all could come to worship as their conscience dictated without interference from the state. The Memorial is located on a common lot of the original settlement of Providence and includes 4.5 acres of landscaped park.

Save The Bay - Narragansett Bay, founded in 1970, protects and preserves the Bay through education, habitat restoration and advocacy efforts. The Center offers a breathtaking view of Narragansett Bay and is available for conferences and private events. Programming includes seasonal Upper Bay lecture cruises, lighthouse tours and children's BayCamp. Daily admission is free. Winter seal watch tours run from Newport weekends and school vacation weeks.
