Winnie-The-Pooh Christmas Carol, Dec 06, 2009 to Dec 07, 2009 - Next Month Children's Theatre
Category: West Long Branch Children event in New Jersey
Description of this New Jersey Event: This tale is an adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens novel as retold with the beloved A.A. Milne Hundred Acre Wood characters. Filled with wit, warmth, and whimsy, it recounts the events of one fateful Christmas Eve for the miserly “Rabbineezer Scrooge” (Rabbit). Scrooge is taught some valuable life lessons, including the true meaning of giving and the importance of family, as he is visited by the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future (all embodied by Pooh Bear). Along this look at his life’s journey, Rabbineezer encounters his long lost business partner, “Jacob Meeyoreley” (Eeyore the Donkey) and his teacher from his school days, “Professor Owl Fezzywig” (Owl). Rabbineezer must examine his relationships with his clerk, “Tigger Cratchet” (Tigger) and Cratchet’s family, “Kanga Cratchet” (Kanga) and “Piggy Tim” (Piglet). All occurs with the help and guidance of Pooh’s owner and friend, Christopher Robin.
