Description of this Manchester area Attraction: Once again Halloween is upon us, that means pumpkins, trick or treating, and of course a few scares. This October, Charmingfare Farm will be taking groups of thrill and fortune seekers into the woods on horse drawn wagons in search of rumored buried treasure. All of our regular animals are still there, but now they’ve been joined by other creatures that are far more terrifying. This ride is designed for older children and adults. Description of this Manchester area Attraction: Climb aboard and travel into the snow-covered forest far away from the modern world. Along the way you will have the opportunity to see our North American wildlife. For our larger vehicles, the ride is 1.5 hours long including the 30-minute stopover at a campfire. For smaller groups, our Ten Passenger Sleigh takes you on a one-hour long ride through the Moose Meadow trails. These rides are offered days and evenings by reservation. Description of this Manchester area Attraction: Experience the magic of Christmas during our evening rides. This 30-minute horse-drawn ride travels through thousands of lights, and holiday scenery. You may even see Frosty, Xmas Bear, Church Mouse, and The Grinch. While waiting to board your ride, families will enjoy visiting our many animals. Santa Claus will even be waiting for everyone at the Reindeer Barn. The rides start at 5pm, and will run Saturdays and Sundays throughout December, and Christmas Eve. Father Christmas and his elves have decorated the farm’s Tractor Train Ride for the holidays. It’s now Santa’s Magical Tractor Train. Join Santa, Carlton the Mouse, farm animals and live reindeer as Charmingfare Farm celebrates this festive season. The special dates are November 24 & 25 and December 1 & 2 from 11am to 3pm. Santa arrives at noon each day. Admission to the farm is $11.00 per person. $3.00 for the Tractor Train Ride with Santa driving. Description of this Manchester area Attraction: It's a Zoo! Charmingfare Farm is home to many of the traditional agricultural animals you would expect to see on a farm. Children will enjoy the Oakhurst Dairy Discovery Barn , home to our large "hands-on" petting area. After visiting with the farm animals you will follow the paths leading into the woods and there you will encounter our wildlife exhibits, where you will find many of North America's greatest predators. Throughout the day various demonstrations and activities are offered, including the free flying "Birds of Prey" presentation. We also have Pony Rides, Tractor Train Rides, and Horse-Drawn Trolley Rides that run all day. So be sure to pack a picnic lunch and spend the day with us at our farm and enjoy our Animals! Charmingfare Farm is open 7 days a week beginning on May 1st, from 10am to 4pm.
