Description of this Grand Forks Attraction: This state-of-the-art facility hosts conventions, exhibitions and concerts and is home to the University of North Dakota football team. Tours are given Monday through Friday at 1 p.m. The Alerus Center boasts 12 individual meeting rooms ranging from 600 to 1,300 square feet, along with the extravagant 26,000-square-foot ballroom. The ballroom can be set as a whole or divided up to five seperate gathering areas to create the intimate setting needed for your event. Our arena has a 100,000-square-foot floor with the seating capacity for up to 22,000! Half house seating can be created with a floor to ceiling curtaining system for a more intimate setting as small as 8,000.
