Description of this Minnesota Event: Immerse yourself in owls at the only annual, full-weekend, all-owl festival in the world. Highlights include eight species of live owls, an outdoor photography session with the owls, and owl prowls to call in wild owls. Families can build an owl nest box, make a variety of owl crafts, search for the medallion, and have a hoot eating owl-themed food. The more serious will enjoy presentations by past president of the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council Marge Gibson and author/naturalist Stan Tekiela, as well as the presentation of the World Owl Hall of Fame awards.
