Description of this Lindsborg Attraction: The Birger Sandzén Memorial Foundation exists to ensure the preservation and promotion of the art of Birger Sandzén and his contemporaries, and to enhance the cultural life of Kansas and the nation, through the Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery. The gallery houses the largest and most extensive collection of Birger Sanzen's paintings, prints, drawings and watercolors found anywhere in the world. The art of Birger Sandzén is exhibited throughout the year, along with guest artists and special traveling exhibitions. In fact, more than 900 exhibitions and guest artists shows have been displayed since the gallery opened in 1957. In addition, gallery talks, chamber music concerts, docent tours, and educational programs are also an integral aspect of the gallery's activities. Through the exhibits and activities, the gallery seeks to continue the work of Sandzén by encouraging young and developing artists. Gallery docents strongly believe in educating the next generation of visitors today.

Description of this Lindsborg Attraction: Small World is the working studio and gallery for National Geographic photographer Jim Richardson. The gallery displays Richardson's fine art photographs, as well as the jewelry designs of his wife and business partner Kathy Richardson. On the road about half the year, Jim is one of the most productive contemporary photographers for NGS. He specializes in the Celtic nations of western Europe as well as rural life, including photography of the Kansas' Flint Hills published in National Geographic in 2007. Kathy gathers vintage and contemporary beads and metals from around the world to her workbench in Small World, where she creates designs of enduring interest.
