The Cafe was recently named City's Best in Outdoor Dining by AOL City Guide, and Chef Peter Crowley's desserts were dubbed "Boston's Best Indulgence" by the Improper Bostonian, who wrote that his "sinfully delicious" sweets "earn audible moans of ecstasy" as part of the "complete sensory experience" this idyllic setting offers. Chef Crowley's creative seasonal menus, with ties to the museum's programming, courtyard and collection, were recently featured in The Boston Globe and The Patriot Ledger. The Gardner Cafe serves lunch Tuesday through Sunday. During the summer months, outdoor seating in the Museum's exterior gardens is available.
