Description of this Columbia Event: All About Beer Magazine and Green’s Discount Beverages present a tasting of hundreds of exceptional beers in the 2010 World Beer Festival on Saturday, January 16, 2010, at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Wednesday, October 21, 2009. A portion of the proceeds from the festival will go to Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR) and The River Alliance.
Tickets:
The festival offers two four-hour sessions, noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. Standard admission to a single session is $40 in advance ($50 day of the event if available), which includes beer samples, music by local bands, educational sessions by industry experts, and a festival tasting glass. VIP admission adds entry to the VIP hospitality suite, including complimentary beer-themed food, select beers not available in the general tasting area, a commemorative glass, and separate entertainment. VIP admission is $75 in advance ($85 at the door if available). Tickets go on sale starting Wednesday, October 21.
