Camping, group lodge and swimming pool are also offered. After your float trip, visit our gift shop for souveniers. The Illinois River is a class II river which means it is great floating for the beginners and experienced alike. Enjoy a day on the Scenic Illinois river with family, friends or your group from church or work. With your float trip, Falcon Floats takes care of the boat, paddles, life jackets and all the transportation. You will want to bring shoes that you can wear in a gravel bottom river, extra clothes, ice chest with drinks and snacks, sun screen and towels. We recommend that you not take anything on the river that you don't want to get wet. Leave your extra clothes and towels in the car. Items that you should not bring include, syrofoam and glass, as these items are illegal on the river.
