Description of this Oklahoma City Attraction: Metro Transit's Oklahoma Spirit Trolleys are designed in the style and tradition of the American Heritage Streetcars and are a fun way to relive the past and get around Oklahoma City. The trolleys travel throughout the downtown area on the Blue line for just 25 cents. They also tour the I-40 & Meridian corridor on the Orange Line for $1.00. Discounts are available for children ages 6-17, older adults and persons with disabilities. Trolleys are wheelchair accessible. Call (405) 235-RIDE weekdays from 8am to 5pm or visit www.gometro.org for trolley route information, schedules and maps. Maps are also available at most area hotels and Bricktown restaurants. METRO Transit also has bus service for the Oklahoma City METRO Area. Regular fare is $1.25 one way (transfers are free) with discounts available for children ages 6-17, older adults and persons with disabilities. Call (405) 235-RIDE or visit www.gometro.org for more information, schedules or maps. Maps are also available at local libraries and the NEW State of the Art Downtown Transit Center, located at NW 5th and Hudson (1 block west of the OKC National Memorial and Museum). Buses are wheelchair accessible.
