The Housley House Bed and Breakfast 1883 Victorian Italianate Home built by R.A. Housley
Category: Grand Rapids Historic Site in Ohio
Description of this Ohio Attraction: The Housley House Bed and Breakfast is a moment spent today, in yesterday's world. Be our guest and enjoy stepping back in time as you open the doors with the antique door "bell" and set your eyes on the beautiful imported wallpaper from England, original marble fireplace and antique mirrors of the historical times of the 1800's.
The Dillin Room is complete with the queen size feather bed, TV, DVD, Wireless Computer, view of the magestic Maumee River, private bathroom w/2 person shower and 2 person jacuzzi. Warm homemade cookies await your arrival, wine-tasting daily, a sweet before bed and a 4 course gourmet breakfast each and every morning at the time and location of your choice. The Dillin Room is just one of the 4 beautiful rooms for you to choose from. Room Rates range from 75.00 to 225.00 but our 2009 SPECIAL marks the rooms down when you spend more than 1 night to a range of 75.00 to 100.00/150.00 a night. Although the rooms and the house are beautiful and so is the English garden..........but the favorite spot for all visitors is the front extended porch that is filled with rocking chairs and the favorite antique wicker swing that overlooks the main street of Grand Rapids, the beautiful river and all the activity going on in the small quaint Grand Rapids, ohio.
This home was just one of their projects in the quaint historical Grand Rapids, Ohio. Their vision is still living as you walk through the many quaint shops of antiques, boutiques and much much more! Please visit us at www.thehousleyhouse.com
