The Inn at East Hill Farm, Indoor Pool, Outdoor Pool, Non Smoking Rooms, Restaurant Family farm vacation resort
Category: Troy Resort in New Hampshire
Description of this New Hampshire Accommodation: The Inn at East Hill Farm is an all-inclusive vacation resort located at the base of picturesque Mt. Monadnock, hidden in the quiet southwest corner of New Hampshire, and is dedicated to provide a family environment of quality, comfort, and relaxation, in all aspects of a guest’s stay. The Inn also hosts line dance and square dance weekends, senior mid-weeks, senior citizen lunches and overnights, and business conferences and retreats.
The Inn is open daily to provide guests with a relaxing hands-on farm experience, which typically includes milking the cows and goats from the rare breed livestock, churning butter, making cheese, petting the bunnies, and feeding the animals.
The seasons of the year provide natural special events for farm life activities. Winter welcomes lambs and many other baby animals, in addition to ice-skating, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, supervised sledding, and making s’mores by the campfire. Boating around Perkins Pond in the springtime captures nature reawakening, as well as collecting blue “Easter Eggs” from special araucana chickens, and holding newly hatched chicks. Summer is time for swimming, fishing, horseback-riding, climbing Mt. Monadnock, the second most climbed mountain in the world, and hiking the smaller Gap Mt., which is a wonderful trek for younger children. Horse drawn hayrides through the blushing woods to the pumpkin patch, ushers one into fall.
