Riverside Speedway

Description of this Colebrook area Activity: Riverside Speedway is a 1/4 asphalt speedway located off Route 3, in Groveton, New Hampshire. Auto racing takes place on Saturday nights from early June to late September. The regular starting time is 6pm. Competing divisions include: Late Models, Super Stocks, Street Stocks, Riverside Angels,(Ladies) and Enduro style racing. Riverside Speedway is owned by CJ Robinson, and the General Manager is Dick Therrien. For more information, logon to www.riversidespeedway.org. Location: Colebrook NH, Canaan VT, Pittsburg NH, and Columbia NH
North Country visitors and families alike should mark their calendars for the fun, funky and fabulous Annual North Country Moose Festival. Friday's activities will begin in Colebrook with tree farm tour, moose mud pond fun and games, art show, music and magician at the bandstand, chicken barbecue, about 100 classic car parade, and guided moose tours. Saturday's entertainment starts at 9am with a Moose Country Fair (crafters & vendors galore), Auto Show, photography contest, fishing adventures, historical horse & wagon tours, 10-3 entertainment at the bandstand, moose stew cook-off, dog show, moose calling contest, and rubber ducky race. Then we move to Pittsburg for guided hikes, dairy farm tours, boat parade, chicken barbecue, magician, guided moose tour, and music & dancing under the tent at Lake Francis 'til 10 pm. Sunday 8-11 am festival breakfast and 10:30 Blessing of the Autos at the Shrine in Columbia
