Crofut Family Winery & Vineyard

Description of this Minnesota Attraction: The Crofut Family Winery & Vineyard is a 63-acre farm and vineyard. There are 6.5 acres of commercial vines planted in 2003-2004, including University of Minnesota varieties: Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, and LaCrescent. The test vineyard, located at the entrance to the property, is assessing experimental grape vine varieties for hardiness, disease resistance and of course, taste! The Crofut family has been making wine for three generations. Don has won numerous awards for his winemaking at State and County Fairs. Visitors will see the grape harvest and processing of grapes for juice and wine production.

Description of this Minnesota Attraction: Fieldstone Vineyards opened in 2003 with it's first vintage and has gone on to win awards in international wine competitions. For the past 4 vintages, Fieldstone Vineyards has been one of the only wineries in Minnesota that is 100% Minnesota grown! Located just 5 miles west of Morgan, MN on State Hwy. 68 or 12 miles southeast of Redwood Falls, MN, Fieldstone Vineyards is located on the Reding Century farm and is housed in a circa 1930's dairy barn. All fermenting, aging and bottling is done on premise. The winery opens the first full weekend in May and remains open weekends through December.

Description of this Minnesota Attraction: Forestedge Winery is the "Winery in the Woods". We specialize in semi dry and dry table wines made from the rich variety of fruits that grow in Northern Minnesota. Est. in 1999 with an opening selection of six different wines, the wineries production and varieties has grown. Today we produce 13 different wines and have won many awards at International Wine Judging contests. The tasting room is open each day and winery tours are available. A gift galley is also at the winery offering fine art and craft from Midwestern artisans.
