Description of this Minnesota Visitor Information entry: The Lake of the Woods Tourist Information Center is located on the west edge of Baudette, Minnesota, the "Walleye Capital of the World"! Lake of the Woods is known throughout the nation as one of the best walleye fisheries in the world! In addition to fabulous multi-species fishing, the area hosts thousands of acres of public land for wildlife viewing! Black bear, grey wolves, whitetail deer, river otter and beaver are all routinely sighted. Birding opportunities abound in the area, and the Lake of the Woods is home to various colonial nest sites, including pelican, common terns, black terns and double crested cormorants. The rare Piping Plover nests in the Wildlife Sanctuary located on Pine Island.
Our center hosts an array of area brochures along with our comprehensive, Getaway Guide. The Lake of the Woods Tourist Information Center is open year around, Monday through Friday, 9:00-4:30 in the winter and seven days a week in the summer. Stop in and see us, we would love to meet you!

Description of this Minnesota Activity: 5 dances to live music are offered each season. Cajun, Scandinavian, old time, bluegrass, are just some of the kinds of music offered.

A free dance lesson is included at 6:30 pm.
Admission is $10 for adults and children are admitted free. The Township Hall is wheelchair accessible and smokefree.
Dalbo Dances are held at Wyanett Township Hall - 34894 Nacre St. NW, Princeton, MN 55371, about an hour north of the Twin Cities, between Cambridge and Princeton.

Description of this Minnesota Activity: Our final dance camp of the summer is going on now! You may still apply and the cmp ends on July 30, 2009. Fall registration for dance classes is beginning now as well. We offer dance classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Irish, Ballroom, Latin, & Counry, for Beginners, Intermediates, and Advanced of ages 4-teens-adults.
